COVID-19 UPDATES
Alameda County Recommends Masking Indoors for Everyone as a Precaution Against Increased Circulation of COVID-19

With cases of COVID-19 rising locally and increased circulation of the highly transmissible Delta variant, the Counties of Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and the City of Berkeley recommend that everyone, regardless of vaccination status, wear masks indoors in public places to ensure easy verification that all unvaccinated people are masked in those settings and as an extra precautionary measure for all.

The Alameda County Public Health Department has provided additional information:

Find a vaccination clinic near you or call 510-208-4VAX (510-208-4829). Residents can drop by a location near them and don’t need an appointment at County-supported vaccinations Points of Dispensing (PODs) and most pop-ups.

These include application, insurance, and barricade fees.

This is a great opportunity to reconnect with neighbors and have some summer fun in the Albany community. Visit our Block Party webpage for more information on how to apply to host a Block Party.
