Farm to Fork is back!

The largest annual fundraiser for local conservation and the Eagle Valley Land Trust will return on August 26th thanks to Alpine Bank and our outstanding sponsors and supporters.

Proceeds from Farm to Fork and Garden to Glass help the Eagle Valley Land Trust protect land and wildlife habitat in Eagle County. EVLT currently protects over 13,300 acres across 38 properties in Eagle County providing wildlife habitat, recreational opportunities, and working agricultural land for our community.

No need to wait till August 26th to start the celebration. We hope you'll consider making a quick donation to the Eagle Valley Land Trust or bidding on one of a kind items and unique experiences in our virtual auction - live now!

Have you ever wondered who pays for the conservation of local open space?

What may strike many as a simple question actually has quite a complicated answer — but don’t let that deter you from a quick snapshot of local conservation finance.

There are a number of mechanisms, partnerships and methods that move conservation projects across the finish line. They range in complexity, from local donations to funds allocated by the U.S. Congress. In Eagle County, when we look at our own conservation landscape, we see a wide variety of finance strategies required to bring about conservation outcomes in progress or already completed. One could literally write a book outlining the diversity of local conservation strategies.
Looking for an affordable and sustainable way to increase your conservation impact?

Introducing the Perennial Giving Program, EVLT's new monthly giving program. Why does monthly giving have such a tremendous impact? Monthly donations give EVLT a reliable and steady stream of financial support so that staff and board members can fulfill the organization's mission more effectively. It saves resources, postage and paper, and is more convenient for you!

How does it work?
  • You may schedule your donation on our online giving platform.
  • Under "Donation Frequency," select "Recurring." From there you can select your start date, end date, and frequency.
  • Gifts are made automatically every month in an amount that fits your budget.
  • You may increase, decrease, or cancel the amount of your gift anytime by calling our office at 970-748-7654.
  • For tax purposes, you will receive an annual statement in January acknowledging your transactions for the prior year.
