Feeding Minds, Filling Bellies Campaign Winner

Our Lady of Mount Carmel of Doylestown

Thanks to our partnership with The GIANT Company, many area schools took part in our Feeding Minds, Filling Bellies Campaign this past fall. Students and families from area schools assembled Full Belly Bags for individuals experiencing food insecurity.

As an extra incentive, we added a fun, competitive element. The school that assembled the most bags, enjoyed a very special surprise visit from the Phillie Phanatic!

The Our Lady of Mount Carmel community assembled 1,889 bags!! Students and staff were treated with a visit from our favorite furry, green friend at the end of January.

The room was filled with high-fives, hugs and squeals of joy!
