DPP Statewide Quarterly Network Meeting
Join DPP Coordinator, Kristie Hicks on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 1:00 PM via Microsoft Teams for the DPP statewide network meeting for all program coordinators and lifestyle coaches at NC CDC-recognized organizations. The goal of these meetings is to receive technical assistance, learn about new DPP resources and engage in peer learning.

The NC Division of Public Health is pleased to offer a unique opportunity for trained and practicing lifestyle coaches offering the National Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) to participate in a series of FREE advanced lifestyle coach training webinars. These trainings are made available to you by Emory’s Diabetes Training and Technical Assistance Center (DTTAC) and Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists (ADCES). These trainings are designed to complement your National DPP lifestyle coach training and to enhance competencies as a trained lifestyle coach.

*These webinars fulfill the new requirement in the 2021 CDC DPRP Standards, which says, “…all Lifestyle Coaches and Program Coordinators should also complete at least two hours of Advanced Coach Training each year. Advanced Coach Training is training beyond the required formal training for Lifestyle Coaches that builds on the foundational skills necessary for helping participants make effective lifestyle change…”
