Research Internships in Science and Engineering
RISE Worldwide 2021

RISE stands for Research Internships in Science and Engineering. RISE offers summer research internships across the world to German undergraduate students with academic training in biology, chemistry, computer science, physics, earth sciences, engineering or a closely related field. 2021 projects can be submitted online from Sept. 1 to Oct. 15, 2020. 2020 Photo Contest: Deadline Extended!

The annual DAAD North America photo contest is live, and the deadline has been extended! This year's theme is #GermanyInMyFuture, and participation is open to any enrolled student in the US or Canada. Study and Go Abroad Virtual Education Fair

DAAD Canada will be on hand at the Study and Go Abroad Virtual Education Fair on Thursday, Sept. 24 from 2 to 8pm (EST). DAAD will be joined by representatives from the University of Cologne, the EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht, TU Ilmenau, and University Alliance. Admission to the fair is free. Internship in Program Administration

We are looking for three interns from October 15 or November 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020 to help process scholarship applications. Applicants should be fluent in English (plus, ideally, in German), have an interest in international higher education, be able to work with Excel, work with great attention to detail, and be available 5 days a week. International Max-Planck Research School for Global Biogeochemical Cycles

In collaboration with the Friedrich Schiller University Jena, the Max Planck Institute for Biogeochemistry houses a unique PhD program. The IMPRS-gBGC offers projects in global Biogeochemistry and related Earth System sciences. We welcome applications from well-motivated and highly-qualified students with a Master of Science or equivalent degree in natural sciences. Proficiency in English is required.
