Dr. Michael Aven bequeathed his father's legacy to the DAAD Foundation. The "Respect and Appreciation" fund enables young Americans to study music or physics in Germany. Michael Aven, who was once funded by DAAD, speaks with DAAD general secretary Dr. Dorothea Rüland about his generous gift and commitment to German-American academic exchange, in German.
