Literacy Goal Update
Literacy:  77.6% of students met grade level standards in writing. This is an increase of over 2% from the 2017-2018 school year., however, this does not meet the goal of 80% of students proficient.
 F or the 2019-2020 school year, Lyon will:
o   Continue Wildly Important Goals (WIGs), however, these goals will be at the classroom level instead of just staff participation.
o   Set norms for WIGs used within literacy
o   Develop a systematic professional development plan to ensure Lyon staff embed critical thinking strategies into daily lessons 
o   Utilize phonics in small group and whole group in order to increase both reading and writing proficiency.

Math Goal Update
Math:   82.3% of all students met grade level standards in math which meets our goal of over 80% meeting proficiency. However, this is a decrease of 3% when compared to the 2017-2018 school year.
For the 2019-2020 school year, Lyon will:
o   Continue Response to Intervention (RTI) 3 days each week, with topics taught aligning to the MAP blueprint. 
o   Create a more systematic process of data collection and monitoring for RTI. 
o   Develop a systematic professional development plan to ensure Lyon staff embed critical thinking strategies into daily lessons.

Attendance:  Lyon exceeded the proportional attendance goal of 94%, ending the year with 96.46% in May, with ADA attendance at 95.11%. This was a 4% increase from the 2017-2018 school year.

Discipline :  Lyon met their goal of 172 referrals or less by ending the year with 140 office discipline referrals. This was a decrease of 27% from the 2017-2018 school year. There were 3 months that exceeded 19 ODRs, October, February, and April which did exceed our monthly goal of 19 or less referrals.
