Greetings!
The annual Ohlone-Portola Heritage Hike is Saturday, Nov. 6, details below. This year there will be a special ribbon cutting taking place at 11:00 a.m. at the Jean F. Fassler Parking Lot (at the end of Fassler Ave.) for the newly named Ahni Trail. And Saturday, Nov. 13, is the Arbor Day celebration. Also, please see the below information about Workforce Development Resources from numerous partner agencies to the City, and pass along to anyone you think might benefit from these training opportunities.
Finally, the City Council will be considering numerous important items at the Nov. 8 City Council Meeting, including a settlement agreement in the class action lawsuit brought by the American Civil Liberties Union Foundation against the City’s Oversized Vehicle Ordinance, and a discussion about the redistricting maps for county supervisorial districts that are being recommended by the 2021 Supervisorial District Lines Advisory Commission to the County Board of Supervisors.
Sincerely,
Kevin Woodhouse
