SHIPT to provide a better shopping experience for all YMCA employees. Scroll through the aisles from your local store using the app or website and receive your items within 1 hour.

CARES Benevolence Fund
Do you know a Y program member or family in need?
Through the CARES Benevolence Fund, you can request funds, issued in the form of gift cards (up to $250) to support those going through unexpected hardships. Ask your supervisor for more information or visit YCONNECT.
Prayer Requests
To further support our communities needs, we now accept prayer requests directly through our website. Requests are received and acknowledged by the CARES Committee at their weekly committee meetings.

Recruitment
We are diligently working behind the scenes to improve the way we manage the recruitment process, building a new Recruitment CRM system that will bring you faster pre-screened applicants, scheduled communications, interview calendars and so much more! Expected launch February 2020.
LEAD Training
The training team is hitting the road in early 2020 to roll out a new and improved
Supervisor LEAD Training near you! All supervisors will be required to attend by April 2020. Registration is now open in the training portal on YCONNECT.
New Staff Recognition Program! Expected launch February 2020.

The marketing department will be implementing a
content creation platform for branch and child & youth development programs.
Lucidpress is a brand templating platform that empowers anyone to easily create on-brand content like flyers, posters, and social media images. Stay tuned for more details. Expected launch in February 2020.
The
Daxko Mobile App "Y App" will be getting an upgrade that will include a new user interface and the ability to integrate group exercise schedules with GroupExPRO. Expected launch in February 2020.
We are going
paperless on all contracts and will be implementing an automated workflow to speed up the approval process. Expected launch in Q1.

The program formerly know as
Child Care will be changing to
Child & Youth Development. The Y doesn't just care for kids, it nurtures and develops young people into successful members of the community and thus, needs to be represented in such a way. The name change has already taken effect internally and expected public launch is in May 2020.
In I.T. news, a
network infrastructure upgrade will provide a better information technology experience for staff and visitors. CYD sites will have segregated Wi-Fi for youth/guest access; higher levels of security to protect against malware and system breaches, quicker I.T. support for staff, and uninterrupted phone service if internet is unavailable. Occurring in 2020 with expected completion in 2021.
