There is NO SCHOOL Wednesday, March 31, to Monday, April 5, for Easter Break. Classes resume on campus Tuesday, April 6, for all grade levels.
Sacrament of Reconciliation
Campus Ministry will host over 20 priests Tuesday, March 30, for our annual Sacrament of Reconciliation Prayer Service. Every student will have the opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation on Tuesday. We encourage parents to speak with their sons about spiritually preparing for the joy of Easter.
36 ACT Score
Congratulations to Ryan Wahle '22 on scoring a 36 out of 36 on his March ACT. Less than .2 percent of students nationwide who take the exam earn this score annually.
State Qualifiers
Congratulations to Luke Ledwon '23 for earning GOLD, the highest rating a musician can receive at state, for his vibraphone solo. Luke recently placed third with the Missouri All-State Jazz Band.

Congratulations to Roman Graiff '21 for placing fourth at the Missouri State Wrestling Championships in the 182-pound division. It is the first time in 12 years that a Vianney wrestler has placed at state.
Art Show
Gus Clever '21 received an honorable mention for his sketch, accepted into a juried art show at Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville.
Course Registration
Registration for the 2021-2022 school year has begun. Students will meet with their counselors to receive a Course Request Sheet. Please review the courses with your student before signing. Your student should return the signed sheet to his counselor. If you have any questions, please contact your student's counselor.
Mission Week
Mission Week concluded March 12 with the Class of 2023 earning a Chick-fil-A lunch after Easter Break for their participation.
Need help around the yard?
Campus Ministry is exploring how our Juniors can assist with outdoor projects (leaf clean-up, mulching, trimming, cutting grass, planting, etc.) for alumni and friends who have been unable to complete these tasks during the pandemic. This is part of our Junior Social Service Project (SSP) in May 2021. If you or someone you know would benefit from this volunteer service, please contact us at ssp@vianney.com and provide the following information:
  • Name of beneficiary
  • Address of beneficiary
  • Brief description of outdoor project(s)
  • Reason for request for service

We cannot meet every request but will contact you in April if we can assist.
Junior Ring Resizing
Jostens will be in the Commons Tuesday, March 30, at 2:15 pm if your ring needs to be resized.
Senior Parent Meeting
At least one parent of each senior is required to attend our meeting Monday, March 29, at 6:30 pm for important information about graduation and other spring events. We will host the meeting via Zoom for the safety and convenience of our families.

Senior Information
Seniors should submit the following forms with documentation by April 7 to Sue Dombek at sdombek@vianney.com or mail the completed forms to school. You can download and print the forms yourself or use the forms being mailed to your home.
NCAA and NAIA Eligibility
High school athletes interested in playing in college should review the NCAA slideshow and handouts.

Graduation Orders
Seniors should pick up their caps and gowns, along with any graduation orders placed with Jostens, Tuesday, March 30, at 2:15 pm in the Commons.
Senior Lock-In
If you have not yet registered for the Senior Lock-In, parents should contact Dennis Matreci at dmatreci@vianney.com by April 7 to let him know if your son will or will not attend. At this time, half of the class have registered for the event planned for Saturday, May 15. We will follow St. Louis County's COVID guidelines for the lock-in with graduates wearing masks and practicing social distancing.

If you can assist with the event, please return the volunteer form as we still need parent volunteers.

Vianney Car Show
Join us on campus Sunday, April 18, between 11 am and 2 pm for Vianney's Car Show with a Rain Date of Sunday, May 2. This complimentary event is open to all members of our community, including past and present families, faculty, and staff. We welcome all cars--from modern to classic to antique!
7th Grade Father/Son Bags Tournament
Our Admissions team invites seventh grade boys and their fathers to campus for a bags tournament with lunch grilled by our BBQ Club. Please ask family and friends with seventh grade boys to register for this free event Sunday, April 25, from Noon to 3 pm.

Home Health Screenings
We ask parents to perform a health screening at home before students leave for school. If a student exhibits any symptoms, he should remain at home and attend classes online when possible. Effective Monday, March 29, we are not taking student temperatures before class.
COVID Exposure
Vianney is following St. Louis County's guidelines with the quarantine period now lessened from 14 days to 10 days. If a student is exposed to COVID and/or experiencing symptoms, please notify our school nurse at nurse@vianney.com.

Save the date for our blood drive Monday, April 19, from 7:30-11:30 am.
Counseling Sessions
Places for People is offering free online sessions for mental health and wellness.
College reps from the following schools will be available virtually in the Leadership Center at 7:45 am. Please register via Naviance at least 24 hours in advance to attend.
