Upperclassmen Schedule
  • Juniors and Seniors attend all classes ONLINE through at least Friday, November 20.
  • Juniors and Seniors have all co-curricular activities, including sports and clubs, POSTPONED through at least Friday, November 20. Please look for additional information from your coaches or club moderators.
  • Juniors and Seniors return to campus for IN-PERSON classes both Monday and Tuesday, November 23 and 24.

Underclassmen Schedule

Thanksgiving Break
Thanksgiving Break begins Wednesday, November 25. All students resume classes ONLINE Monday and Tuesday, November 30 and December 1. We may further delay the return to campus if additional students are exposed to COVID over the break.
Second Semester Schedules
Students should review their second semester schedules in Blackbaud. If there are errors or you want to request a schedule change, please contact your counselor as soon as possible. Due to class sizes and maintaining social distancing, alternative course options are limited.
Griffin Assist
Griffin Assist is available before and after school for academic support plus Mass, class meetings, and other activities. ALL students should attend from 7:45-8:10 am and 2:10-2:40 pm if requested by a teacher or scheduled on our school calendar. Students should NOT leave for after-school activities like jobs or practices until 2:40 pm with families asked to plan accordingly.
If a student experiences ANY symptoms of illness, please keep him home and notify us at nurse@vianney.com. This is in addition to contacting the Main Office at 314-965-4853 ext 100 to report the absence. Your student should attend all classes online until cleared by our school nurse to return to campus. If he is too ill to attend virtually, please contact our main office and his teachers to ensure he remains on track academically.
Counseling Groups for Students
Our school counselors are looking into starting groups at Vianney for our students coping with grief and loss and for those coping with stress and anxiety. If your student is interested in participating in a counseling group, please contact Katie Holman at kholman@vianney.com
Honors Convocation & NHS Induction Mass
Honors Convocation and NHS Induction Mass have been POSTPONED. We will notify families as soon as new dates are set.
It's A Wonderful Life | A Radio Play
Griffin Theatre has POSTPONED its production of "It's a Wonderful Life."

Poinsettia Sale
The Alumni Moms are holding their annual Poinsettia Sale. Please download and submit your order form by Friday, November 27. Pickup is Thursday, December 3, from 11 am to 3 pm in the Commons.
Senior Quilt Square
Quilt squares are due Monday, November 23. Blank squares were sent in Senior Packets at the start of the school year with instructions. If you have any questions, please contact Lisa Hackett at 314-965-4853 ext 147 or lhackett@vianney.com to celebrate this senior class tradition.
A college rep from the University of Dayton will be available virtually on Tuesday, November 17, at 7:45 am. Please register via Naviance at least 24 hours in advance to attend.
ACT Prep Course  
If you would like to prepare for the February or March ACT, Sarah Kheriaty is hosting courses beginning in January. It is $350 per student with a $50 discount if a sibling previously took her course.
A+ Program
Seniors working toward the A+ scholarship need only complete 25 hours of mentoring or tutoring this school year. Contact Dennis Matreci at dmatreci@vianney.com on how to complete this requirement.
Elks Scholarship
The Elks National Foundation is offering four-year college scholarships with awards ranging from $1,000 to $12,500 per year. Applicants do not have to be related to a member of the Elks. The deadline is November 15.
