Province Set to Issue Request for Proposals to Advance Tunnelling Work 
The Ontario government is one step closer to getting shovels in the ground on part of the largest subway expansion in Canadian history with the expectation that the Request for Proposals (RFP) to advance tunnelling work on the Scarborough Subway Extension will be issued in the coming days. 

"After waiting over 30 years for a subway, our government is taking another critical step forward to build the improved, three-stop Scarborough Subway Extension for the people of Scarborough," said Premier Ford. "This project will create thousands of jobs, drive housing development, and triple the daily ridership to help reduce congestion and cut travel times for riders and commuters." Read full release.
Teams Prequalified and Request for Proposals Issued for Brampton Courthouse Addition Phase 2 and Toronto Region Bail Centre Project
Infrastructure Ontario (IO) and the Ministry of the Attorney General (MAG) have announced the two prequalified teams that are invited to respond to a request for proposals (RFP) to design, build and finance the renovation of the existing courthouse located at 2201 Finch Avenue West to accommodate a new Toronto Region bail centre and complete Phase 2 of the addition to the A. Grenville and William Davis Courthouse in Brampton.

A successful bidder is expected to be announced in spring 2021.
