PUBLIC NOTICE: IRTC Sub-Committee Meeting
A sub-committee of the Indianapolis Regional Transportation Council (IRTC) will be meeting at 10:00 AM on Monday, October 21, 2019 at MIBOR REALTOR Association located at 1912 N. Meridian St. Indianapolis, IN 46202 to discuss a proposal from the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) to exchange federal transportation funds for state funds in regards to the Indianapolis Regional Transportation Improvement Program (IRTIP), which documents the Federally funded transportation improvements proposed for the Indianapolis Metropolitan Planning Area (MPA). IndyGo Red Line Remains Free into November
IndyGo announced the Red Line will remain free until November 10th. This decisions was made because of issues with service during the first month of operations and because it became clear that the new ticketing machines would not be fully operational by an agreed-upon deadline. Public Open House: County Road 300 South Project on
Oct. 10 6-7:30pm
Boone County, the Town of Zionsville and the Indianapolis MPO are investigating the expansion and reconstruction of County Road 300 South from the Town of Whitestown/Zionsville limits to the Boone County/Hamilton County Line. The open house will present various options for alignments and potential roadway and intersection improvements and discuss other potential considerations which may be affected by the roadway project. This meeting will allow interested parties to view and comment on preliminary renderings and plans prepared by the project engineer. Read the public notice here.
Record Number of Submissions for Indianapolis City:One Challenge
Over 120 proposals were submitted to the Indianapolis City:One Challenge, marking a record amount. The City:One Challenge works to put residents in the center of the conversation by having them work with private and public sectors to identify solutions that address mobility needs.
