Locations Close to Public Transit Boost Residential and Commercial Real Estate Values
A joint study from the American Public Transportation Association (APTA) and the National Association of Realtors (NAR) examined the relationship between real estate value and public transportation. Neighborhoods located within a half-mile of public transit services outperformed those in areas farther from public transit based on a number of factors. Learn more about the study here.
U.S. 52 Bridge in Hancock County to
Close for Replacement
The Indiana Department of Transportation is closing a portion of U.S. 52 to replace the bridge over West Little Sugar Creek. Both directions will be closed between CR S 600 W and CR S 550 W. The closure is expected to last approximately 120 days beginning March 2nd. For more information, click here.

One of the City:One Challenge winners, AbleLink, is working on an app that will help people with intellectual disabilities to travel safely, whether by bus or on foot. The traveler taps on the picture of their desired destination and the software takes over from there. The GPS-backed tracking triggers AbleLink WayFinder to safely guide the user with step-by-step visual and audio instructions. Click here to learn more.
