RFQ: Section 5311/5307 Allocation Analysis Services
A request for qualifications for Section 5311/5307 Allocation Analysis Services has been issued by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Planning Organization. This RFQ is for the purpose of finding a consultant to assist in determining the best methodology for defining urban versus rural trips based on actual transit trip data. The intent is to establish an honest and fair reporting methodology that will ensure the highest federal formula funding allocation for the Indianapolis urbanized area for Section 5307 and Section 5311 funding. Submissions are due by October 11, 2019 by 3:00 pm. MPO's Crash Data Dashboard Recognized by Esri & Two Events
Esri, an international GIS mapping software company, gave the Indianapolis MPO a shout-out for our crash data dashboard! The dashboard was also featured at GIS Day on September 17th and at the Indiana MPO Conference on September 26th. The Indianapolis MPO has several dashboards for public use and is working on many more. To see the dashboards, click here.

Johnson County Economic Development Corporation Merges with Greater Greenwood Chamber of Commerce, now Aspire Johnson County
Members of the Greater Greenwood Chamber of Commerce and Johnson County Development Corporation (JCDC) approved a merger of the two organizations. Representatives from both organizations joined area civic and business leaders and officially launched Aspire Economic Development + Chamber Alliance. The new organization creates a stronger, more unified engine to drive economic growth in Johnson County and south of Indianapolis. For more information, click here.
