Cultural Trail Adaptive Bicycle Pilot Program
Adaptive bicycles are now available to ride on the Indianapolis Cultural Trail. There are five different styles of adaptive bikes to meet various accessibility needs. Click here to learn more about the bikes.
SURVEY: McCordsville Bike and Pedestrian Master Plan
The Town of McCordsville is seeking input from residents for their bike and pedestrian master plan. Their future plan will integrate with a larger interconnected plan that links with the Hancock County Trails Plan, the City of Fishers, and the City of Lawrence to encourage the community to bike and walk more. New Roundabout Open in Avon
The new roundabout at Avon Avenue and 150 South is now open, just in time for school to start. The MPO allocated $1,366,748 in Federal Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) funding for the project. Learn more here.
Red Line Free for Month of September
Riding the Red Line will be free for everyone during the month of September and all other IndyGo routes will be free for the first two weeks of September. Read more here. The Red Line also introduces dedicated bike lanes and new travel patterns. To learn the rules of the road, watch these animated videos.
