National Work Zone Awareness Week
Every spring, the Federal Highway Administration and its partners sponsor National Work Zone Awareness Week to bring attention to motorist and worker safety and mobility issues in and around work zones. Click here to learn more about the campaign, including tips for navigating work zones safely.
Value Capture Peer Exchange Webinars Begin May 7
The value capture webinar series features presenters who have successfully used value capture techniques, such as transportation impact fees, special assessments, tax increment finance, transportation utility fees, joint development, and capture value from existing assets, to fund previously unfunded infrastructure projects. North Split Virtual Public Open Houses
Two open houses are scheduled next week for the public to learn more about the North Split project and for project updates. The open houses will both be virtual and will have the same presentation on both dates. Click here for more information, including the link for the virtual public house.
City-County Council Supports Proposal for Infrastructure Upgrades
The Indianapolis City-County Council voted in support of Proposal 142, which will advance plans to repair/improve infrastructure on 38th Street. The Purple Line is projected to dedicate $95 million to infrastructure along the route. Click here for more information.
MPO offices are located in the Indianapolis City-County Building, which has been closed until further notice due to COVID-19. However, we are all working remotely and continue with our normal activities.
