MPO Supports Hands Free Indiana
The MPO Board approved a resolution at their last meeting putting the MPO's support behind House Bill 1070, in which the Indiana State Government strives to reduce distracted driving in the state. Learn more about House Bill 1070 by clicking here.
Celebrating Black History Month
February is Black History Month and the MPO would like to highlight black folks who have contributed to transportation or impacted urban planning in some way. Many inventions and concepts that were developed by black individuals are still in use or inspired what is in use today. Check out the album by clicking here.
2020 AARP Community Challenge Applications Are Open
AARP has opened applications for the 2020 AARP Community Challenge grants. They provide small grants to fund "quick-action" projects that can help communities become more livable for people of all ages. Applications are being accepted for projects to improve housing, transportation, public space, technology, civic engagement, and more. Click here for more information.
IndyGo Survey for Transportation Needs
IndyGo is soliciting survey responses from community members regarding their transportation needs. By completing the survey, respondents will assist IndyGo in planning and prioritizing projects. Access the survey by clicking here.
