WHERE ARE THE AEDS?

Club Greenwood has two AEDs. One hangs on the wall at the Service Desk, which is downstairs outside the locker rooms. The other is at Tennis, on the main level near the front entry door.

Staff members are required to take training to use these Automated External Defibrillators, which can be critical during a sudden cardiac arrest. An AED can analyze the heart's rhythm and, if necessary, deliver an electrical shock to help the heart re-establish an effective rhythm.

Please make sure you are aware of where the AEDs are. We all hope to never have to use the AED, but knowing where the nearest device is can save much needed time in an emergency.

DONATE BICYCLES TO HUMANITY PROJECT

Donate a working bicycle to Club Greenwood's 13th annual Bicycles 4 Humanity project. Bicycles will be collected in the circle drive from 8:00am to 12:00pm Saturday, May 10.

All donated bicycles will go to Namibia, Africa, for Bicycles 4 Humanity, a global grassroots movement that provides the gift of mobility delivered by a bicycle to many in developing and developed countries.

POOLS ARE OPEN

The outdoor Adult and Splash pools are now open; however, lifeguards will not be on duty until Memorial Day weekend, starting Saturday, May 24.

Please remember that the slide in the Splash Pool is open only when a lifeguard is on duty to supervise its use. The popular Pool Floats also will be in use starting Memorial Day weekend.
