What is Old is New Again

Spring offers renewal, and we are going to take that offer seriously! Here in Studio Class Programs at WAM, we look forward to warmer days and getting back into our Museum for some in-person learning!

It has been a year, I'll repeat myself here, a year since we have been able to hold in-person classes! Starting late in April we will be offering a few limited youth and adult classes in the galleries. Faculty Randy LeSage, Susmita Bando, Sally Lividini and Susan Slepetz will be our pilots for this test run, offering classes such as Drawing from Landscapes, Drawing from the Collection, Myth and Magic, Animal Passport, and a variety of workshops. If these classes go well, we will expand our in gallery classes for the summer - and add in some en plein air classes as well.

We are happy to announce our new Studio Class Programs Facebook page, too! There you will find highlights on faculty and students, resources for artists, local exhibition information, and, of course, information on upcoming classes and events at WAM! We will also still share some just-for-fun posts such as activities for youth, coloring pages for all, and art challenges, too. Follow us for more fun between Sketches!
