Ontario's Budget
On April 11, the Government of Ontario released its 2019 Budget, “Protecting What Matters Most.”

The Thunder Bay Chamber is very pleased to see the changes to the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program to broaden the occupations eligible so that it includes high demand positions such as truck drivers and personal support workers. This is an issue that we have been working on locally for some time and will help meet the workforce needs of our community.
