We’re Asking Candidates to Say Yes to Visionary Leadership
The first pillar of the City of Opportunity platform is all about responsibility to the people of Thunder Bay. We’re asking for fiscal transparency and an analysis of spending that will help voters understand how the City spends and let them decide what’s most important. We’re asking our leaders to emphasize collaboration and consultation with community stakeholders who will be affected by the policies they make. We’re looking for leaders who aren’t just going to play it safe – who will accept a certain amount of risk as they strive for change, and who will look to the community to help mitigate those risks. We’re asking our leaders to look to the long-term and develop a road-map for Thunder Bay’s future that makes it a City of Opportunity for everyone.

If you agree that we need visionary leadership to navigate our city into the future, you might be interested in the other recommendations in the City of Opportunity platform – it was designed with you in mind. Learn more at www.tbchamber.ca/sayyes
