Arts Council Advocates with State and Local Representatives

Arts Council representatives spoke with government officials in Raleigh and advocated for arts funding.

The advocacy continued as Shannon B. Henry spoke at the Public Hearing on Proposed City of Winston-Salem Budget for Fiscal Year 2026 - 2027.

Forsyth County supported Arts Council through a workplace campaign

On the final day of the campaign, Forsyth County hosted an art market.

Did you know Arts Council of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County is the largest funder of the arts in Winston-Salem and Forsyth County Schools?

One way Arts Council supports arts in education is through the Arts in Education grant. Grantees have begun to share stories of their impact in our school community...

""We had such a wonderful time visiting Konnoak Middle School yesterday as part of our PWS Connect Program, made possible through the Wells Fargo Arts-In-Education Grant from Arts Council of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County.

It was truly inspiring to meet so many students who are not only passionate about music, but already envisioning it as part of their future careers. Their curiosity, energy, and talent made this visit especially meaningful for our musicians."

Lyrics by the Lake Returns!

“Lyrics by the Lake” feels like your favorite family reunion, cookout, and homecoming tailgate all in one. Created in 2021, “Lyrics by the Lake” has continued to grow and has quickly become a summer staple in Winston-Salem and has now returned at Arts Council!

Announces final day after 1 year and 5 months working with Arts Council

Eurikca has dedicated one year and five months to supporting funding for Arts Council, artists and art organizations across Winston-Salem and Forsyth County.

She spearheaded the beloved Modern Automotive WSFCS Spring Arts Extravaganza. She led Arts Council's 75th Anniversary Celebration reuniting arts supporters in the city of the arts. She led workplace campaigns, nourished donor relationships, met with state representatives, partnered with local businesses and art organizations to fuel financial sustainability.



Along the way she brought her high energy and quick humor making us all laugh. We are going to miss you Eurikca! We wish you all the best on your next chapter.
