uGO April Update

The hustle and bustle isn't what it usually is in University Circle, and that's a good thing right now. That means we're doing our part to flatten the curve. Keep it up! While many are able to work from home, there are still thousands of healthcare and front line workers getting the job done in University Circle. That work is profoundly appreciated by all. Read on for more information about transportation service updates related to COVID-19, resources to help you get some fresh air, and a challenge intended to help those working from home understand the environmental impact of their telecommute. Be safe, everyone.
CircleLink Service Changes Due to COVID-19

Out of an abundance of caution for public health, effective since March 28th, weekend service on both the BlueLink and GreenLink shuttles has been suspended until further notice.

Additionally, PM peak frequency on the GreenLink shuttle has been rolled back. Typically there are two shuttles running a continuous loop during peak frequency on the GreenLink. The AM peak is 6:30 - 10:00AM. The PM peak is 4:00 - 6:30PM. Effective March 30th, frequency in the PM peak hours only has been reduced by only having one shuttle on the route. AM peak frequency is not impacted.

You can stay up to date for any future changes in CircleLink shuttle service by signing up for transportation alerts or intermittently checking the uGO shuttle page .
GCRTA Temporary Service Reduction to Begin April 12th

Beginning Sunday, April 12, the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) is reducing bus and rail service by approximately 15% in response to the COVID-19 crisis. Frequency on the HealthLine will be reduced to 15 minutes on weekdays and 30 minutes on evenings and weekends. Frequency on the Red Line will be reduced to every 15 minutes during peak commute times. There will be no change in frequency on Bus #10.

For a full list of service impacts, see RTA's announcement on their website.
