Pedestrian Safety Advisory Meeting

You are invited! Join staff from University Circle Inc. for the district's first pedestrian safety advisory meeting. Give input on your experience as a pedestrian in University Circle and learn about current road safety issues and interventions.

Winter Service Changes for University Circle Shuttles
Many University Circle shuttle routes are impacted by CWRU's winter break. Some of the impacted routes resume regular service starting Monday, January 11. See the chart below for more info, and use our shuttle page for real-time shuttle location information.
Moving Ohio Forward - A Statewide Sustainable Transportation Conference

Moving Ohio Forward is calling all sustainable transportation advocates and professionals to join for a statewide virtual conference on Thursday, January 14 from 9:30 am - 6:30 pm. Presentations will cover topics ranging from road safety to the future of public transportation in Ohio. Registration is free. ODOT Seeks Input for a Statewide Bicycle & Pedestrian Plan

The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is seeking input on a statewide bicycle and pedestrian plan called Walk.Bike.Ohio. The plan will address current and future programs that guide Ohio’s bike and pedestrian transportation policies and investments in infrastructure and possible future programs. You can provide feedback by reviewing the draft plan here and filling out the survey here.
In case you missed it!
  • Winter can be a difficult time for cyclists due to snow and debris blocking bike lanes and areas of the road near the curb. Report road hazards to the City of Cleveland's 3-1-1 dispatch center, open M-F from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.
  • The Greater Cleveland RTA reduced the price of an all day fare card from $5.50 to $5.00. For more information about this change, see RTA's announcement.
  • If you take the Red Line to or from Tower City, construction at Tower City will affect where you get on and off the train. Blue and Green lines are not affected. Read RTA's alert here.
