DINE & DASH - A VIRTUAL SERIES ON SUSTAINABLE TRANSPORTATION

Dine & Dash with University Circle Inc. and uGO! Join us on Zoom on Thursday, June 17 at noon for a presentation and moderated Q&A session on overcoming barriers to confident urban biking with League Cycling Instructor, Diana Hildebrand. The session will focus on bike fit, maneuvering in traffic, and how to feel more in control while biking.

NEXT GEN RTA BEGINS JUNE 13

RTA's NEXT GEN bus route changes will take effect Sunday, June 13. To learn more about how the changes might impact your regular RTA routes, check out our last transportation alert detailing the changes. If you missed our last Dine & Dash session with RTA representatives talking about NEXT GEN impacts in University Circle, check out the recording.

Please note that if you are planning your trip using Google Transit or RTA's Trip Planner with a travel date of June 13, 2021 or later, your search results will include the NEXT GEN routes that will be in effect at that time.
RIDE RTA FOR FREE FROM JUNE 13 - 19

In conjunction with the launch of NEXT GEN RTA, RTA is offering free rides on bus, rail, Park-N-Ride and paratransit from June 13 through June 19, 2021. All RTA passengers will ride for free from Sunday, June 13 through Saturday, June 19 on all modes of transportation. Paratransit customers must continue to schedule their rides in advance as usual.
SUMMER SHUTTLE CHANGES

With the start of summer break for Case Western Reserve University, certain shuttle routes are impacted. The following changes are in effect until classes resume in the fall:
  • Evening South route - 1 shuttle on the route from 5:15 p.m. - 12:30 a.m.
  • Evening North route - 1 shuttle on the route from 5:15 p.m. - 12:30 a.m.
  • Heights AM route - out of service
  • KSL Express route - out of service
  • Target/Walmart Express - out of service
  • HEC Main route - 1 shuttle on the route from 6:30 - 9:00 p.m. until further notice.
  • HEC Main After Hours route - 1 shuttle on the route from 6:30 - 9:00 p.m. until further notice.
  • HEC Nursing route - 1 shuttle on the route 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

DOWNTOWN CLEVELAND TRANSPORTATION SURVEY

Do you go downtown? Let the Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency (NOACA) know what you think about transportation in downtown Cleveland. The Downtown Cleveland transportation study is underway. As part of the study, NOACA produced an informational video with background on the study. NOACA is collecting public feedback through Sunday, June 13 with this survey.
In case you missed it!
  • The first uGO Dine & Dash session was on the topic of vanpool and included a presentation and moderated Q&A with a vanpool ambassador from the Cleveland VA as well as a representative from Enterprise. Check out the recording here.
  • If you notice debris or other hazards in the bike lane, call the City of Cleveland's 3-1-1 answer line to report it. The 3-1-1 answer line is active weekdays during busy hours.
