#DitchYourCar During Earth Week for a $100 Gift Card to L'Albatros

April 22, 2020 is the golden anniversary of Earth Day!

GreenCityBlueLake, a department of the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, and uGO are sponsoring a #DitchYourCar Earth Week Challenge. The challenge is for commuters who are willing to park their cars and try other ways of getting to work. Participants who meet the challenge requirements will receive a $100 gift card to L'Albatros. Apply to participate by Friday, March 20th.

GreenLink Service Change

Starting March 16th, the GreenLink shuttle will no longer operate on a timetable. It will operate on a continuous loop between CWRU's north campus area and the Cedar-University RTA rapid station. During peak times (M-F 6:30-10:00 a.m. and 4:00-6:30 p.m.), there are two shuttles on the route, and frequency is approximately every 15 min. During non-peak times (M-F 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and weekends), there is one shuttle on the route, and frequency is approximately every 30 min. Shuttle users are strongly encouraged to use the uGO shuttle page or the TransLoc rider app to track shuttles in real-time.

University Circle Shared Mobility Survey Results

We shared early results of the University Circle shared mobility survey in the February newsletter. We learned that of all survey respond ents (270 people), sixty three percent have never taken a shared e-scooter/e-bike trip, and 18 percent have only taken one trip. We group those respondents into a category called "Once or Never Ridden." The other respondents ride at least once per month, and we group those respondents into a category called "Habitual Riders."

GCRTA Strategic Plan - Public Meetings

Make an impact on future transportation in Cleveland by helping the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority develop a new Strategic Plan to guide the agency until 2030. There are two upcoming opportunities to attend public meetings.
