The IM2P33E8 series M.2 2280 SSD is ADATA’s fastest SSD to date, designed for demanding applications. It features an ultra-fast PCIe Gen3x4 interface, offering sustained peak R/W speeds of 3200/1700MB per second, outranking SATA by a large margin. With NVMe 1.3 qualified, the IM2P33E8 delivers superior random read/write performance and multi-tasking capabilities. Thanks to SLC Caching, DRAM Cache Buffer and LDPC ECC technologies, it maintains high speed and data integrity during even the most intense rendering, overclocking, and other high demand applications.
Operating Temperature Range: -40°C to 85°C, choose from IM2P33E8-256GP (256GB), IM2P33E8-512GP (512GB), IM2P33E8-001TP (1TB), or IM2P33E8-002TP (2TB).

NAND Flash Memory Type: 2nd Generation 3D TLC. While MLC doubles the amount of bits per cell, whereas TLC triples, which this opens up an ability for higher capacity SSDs.

MTBF / Mean Time Between Failures: 2,000,000 hours - IM2P33E8 series support LDPC (low density parity check) error correcting code technology to detect and fix a wider range of data errors for more accurate data transfers and prolonged SSD lifespan.

Security: AES 256-bit encryption to ensure data safety, Opal 2.0 compliant version optionally available according to Trusted Computing Group’s latest standards * .

Note*: Opal 2.0 features and demands encryption for the stored data so that an unauthorized person will not be able to see or access the data even if possession of a drive was gained. The specification standard stipulates that the hardware encryption is permanently active (“always on“). That means that Opal 2.0 is one of the main standards for the so-called SED self-encrypting drives.
