Keith and Donna Zoller opened their tattoo shop in 2019 in the heart of the downtown.
They moved to South Milwaukee 8 years ago and have always wanted to open a tattoo shop. There are 5 artists, one piercer/artist and one apprentice. They are a street shop that offers walk-in services as well as piercings. Per Keith, "We plan to expand the business into tattoo removal and look forward to our future in South Milwaukee."

Welcome New and Upcoming Businesses | |

Nada Stillo and husband Mario purchased the South Milwaukee American Legend Post #27 and are opening "Bella Rose" November 15th, continuing to use the building as an event space. They will offer full-service event planning, including decorations, DJs, flowers, catering, and limo services.
The Stillo's are working with the Post to finish out the years planned events and helping to preserve their history. "We will focus on working closely with the Veterans for their celebrations and working with the community to continue the work that the Post started such as, hosting events with the local schools, Boys Scouts, athletic departments, police department and other public services departments. We want to honor the work the Post has invested into the community."

Call for Creators for South Milwaukee Makers Market
You may have noticed the new sign up at 924 Milwaukee Avenue for a makers' market. A makers' market is a growing business model offering vendors their own space to sell their creations, and functions like a co-op while not being responsible for the many items of owning or renting a space. It's like a business incubator space, perfect for someone starting out and wanting to move beyond community markets and seasonal craft fairs.
To all you creatives out there, check it out and help spread the word. The space can have up to 8 vendors and a work/class space.

So what's up with "THCannabis Dispensary"?
Owner Denisa Shawar opened her store in August at 217 N. Chicago Avenue, offering cannabinoid products in various forms. Per business partner Jaleel Shawar "Our products meet federal standards, having less than 0.3% THC content. They contain THCA cannabinoids, which is different from THC. THCA offers a range of therapeutic benefits. We thoroughly vet our products, ensuring consistent quality." There are misconceptions surrounding cannabis and the differing compounds extracted and the effects.
