It Is Always A Good Time To Say Thank You!

During this season, South Dakota Parent Connection would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to you, our supporters. Whether you have donated your time, generous gifts, or directed families to us, you are making a difference!

Thank you to all our donors! At South Dakota Parent Connection, we are always honored to support such amazing families. The families we serve have children with disabilities and more expenses than others and continue to be some of our biggest donors. We are also blessed to work with numerous businesses who have a passion for our mission and donate products, services or monetarily to help us provide support to families and the professionals who help to support them.

We would also like to send a huge thank you to our Board of Directors, volunteers, staff, and Peer Navigator Consultants. All of these individuals combine their skills, experiences, and passion to support the families who contact us for help during a difficult time in their lives.

We also work with various state agencies, non-profits, and professional business partners who work tirelessly and deserve a big thank you. Together with these partners, and their willingness to collaborate we are able to better serve South Dakota families.

Thanks for Giving

An important day is just around the corner. That day is November 29th, Giving Tuesday, a global movement to support organizations that make the world a better place.

Because you care about the South Dakota families who have children with disabilities, we could use your help. Your generosity will help us continue to provide individualized support, resources and information to parents and the professionals who help to support them across the state. #ForSouthDakota

Here is how one family says South Dakota Parent Connection helped their family.

"As first time parents and having our only child be diagnosed with high-functioning autism, we were searching for answers. South Dakota Parent Connection has educated and provided us with so much beneficial information. We love our little boy more than anything in this world and he is amazing. We appreciate the support and all the resources that South Dakota Parent Connection provides for parents like us. Thank you!"

Take Time to Thank a Teacher

"Human contacts are the key element to education. What we are really trying to do is open doors and expand horizons. The horizons are different and the doors lead to different opportunities, but what we are about has not changed." - Dr. John Harris

Educators can be nominated for recognition from the institute where they teach (K - 12 - postsecondary) the state, and even on the national level. If you know a teacher who gives endlessly to the children or young adults they are educating, contact your local institute to learn more about what is available in your area.
