Offered at several different library locations around Sioux Falls and the neighboring areas. Students commit to attending eight (8), 1-hour sessions in a 4-week period with a qualified, trained tutor. It is a great opportunity to give your student extra support and motivation during the long summer months!
Survey (English & Spanish): Families of students K-12 with an IEP or 504 Plan invited to participate in this survey about their involvement by schools in planning, implementing, and using technology. FREE ON-DEMAND E-LEARNING CAREGIVER TRAINING FOR FAMILIES OF CHILDREN WITH DELAYS OR DISABILITIES
These free, easy to use modules will teach different strategies to use at home with your child. This course is for caregivers of children ages 2 to 9 years with developmental delays or disabilities, especially in the domains of communication and social interaction. The course aims to enhance caregivers’ capacity to use everyday play and home routines as opportunities to build their children’s communication, engagement in activities, positive behavior and daily living skills, while improving caregivers’ overall wellbeing. Autism Speaks, using the WHO caregiver training, created an abbreviated Caregiver Quick Tips video series that teaches caregivers how to use play and everyday routines to help their child share activities, expand their communication, learn new skills and more. Each video is a few minutes in length.

This webinar will share information that parents need to know about dating apps, including a demo of an actual dating app. We will talk about skills that are needed to navigate these apps safely and how to avoid scams as well.
