高中部新進家長座談會 將訂定於5/5 & 5/6 中午 12:00-1:00 于圖書館舉行，座談會中將介紹高中中文課程及教材、高中分班考、 校外學分班、 SATII中文、 AP中文的說明。

Seminar for incoming high school freshmen's parents will take place on 5/5 & 5/6 from 12:00 to 1:00PM at the library. We will cover high school Chinese curriculum, textbooks, high school placement test, Chinese SATII, AP Chinese in the seminar.

學年又即將結束了。過去這幾個月來，我們要謝謝中文學校的老師和職員的努力，讓我們在學習中文的路上又前進了一大步。從5月2號到5月20號是一年一度的教職員感謝月，謝謝所有的老師和職員！

 It is almost the end of the school year. Let's show our appreciation to the people that makes the school year possible! From 5/2 to 5/20 will be Teacher and Staff Appreciation Month. Thanks to all teachers and staff!

Free college admission seminar for parents! Calling all parents of middle school students! Plan your child's college admission strategies as early as middle school. What a student does in middle school affects their high school career and ultimately their college admission options. PTO has invited guest speakers Ms. Elizabeth Venturini and Mr. Scott Lund to share their expertise in helping your middle schoolers plan for their future! Join us for a free seminar in Room 223 from 11:00-12:00 pm on Saturday, May 12, 2018. Attendants are offered a free 30 minutes complimentary consultation. 暑期中華樂器夏令營，把握早鳥優惠4/30 ! 通過對中華傳統樂器暑期營密集性的學習，學員可以了解所選樂器的特性，掌握基本的演奏手法，並可以表演簡單的樂曲，營隊結束將有成果展。有古箏、二胡、笛子， 不須自備樂器，名額有限。

Summer Chinese instrument program, early bird before April 30! Students can learn how to play Guzheng, Erhu or flute through the 5 half days of intensive classes. There is the performance at the end of camp. Instrument provided. 

Age: 7-12
AM class: 7/16-7/20, 9am-12pm
PM class: 7/9-7/13, 1pm-4pm
太平洋交響樂團及南海岸中華文化中心共同成立的圓夢親子樂團，於5月19日週六10點在Merage Jewish Community Center舉辦「春之饗樂」免費音樂會，音樂會同時請到太平洋交響樂團的Santiago Strings Quartet ，南海岸中華樂團青少年女子樂團，爾灣中文學校3年級學生及爾灣銀髮族口琴社表演，歡迎參加!

Pacific Symphony and South Coast Chinese Cultural Center host Strings for Generations will perform at Soring Music Festival at 10am May 19, at Merage Jewish Community Center in Irvine. This free music festival also invited Pacific Symphony Santiago Strings Quartet, SCCCO Youth Ensemble, ICS students and Irvine Senior Harmonica Band. Welcome to come.
