Our trip up north had the luck of both great weather and peak fall colors. As fleeting as it is, everyone seems to love this time of the year and are always amazed by the wonders of nature.
We took our annual trip out to Sonny Acres this week as we opted for a weekday to beat the weekend crowds. You can tell the kids are full-fledged adults with that decision, ha!
Sonny Acres does not have the giant pumpkins of Jerry's in Sturgeon Lake, but it is nostalgic as it was our 30th trip out there...wow!
We are busy getting our yard decorations out as it is festive event at our place, and I like to say it is the first of the big 3 fall/winter holidays.
Let's face it, Thanksgiving and Christmas are in the back of everyone's minds for one reason or another. Everyone, take a deep breath...
If you are forward thinking like us, we will soon begin taking orders for Thanksgiving as we are working on our holiday menus and will begin making room for all of those turkeys!
If you're a Mike's customer, be sure to stop by on Saturday for the trick or treat event on Villa Ave, and if you're a Casey's customer, stop in for some easy meal prep if you're headed to Harvest Fest at Spring Rock Park!
We hope to see you all soon!
