VIRGINIA RANGE MUSTANG
SPECIAL LICENSE PLATE

We are so very pleased to provide updates on the NEW Nevada Special License Plate benefiting the Historic Virginia Range Mustangs!!! It is still moving right along in the "TESTING" phase of the project which could last several more months.
After that, the license plate should be sent for production and available through the Nevada DMV. As the time draws closer for this plate to be available to the general public, we'll be keeping you up to date with all the developments.
And in addition to the regular license plate sales through the Nevada DMV, there will also be special edition plates available to collectors as well as souvenir items that all Virginia Range Mustang fans can purchase no matter where you live around the globe!!!!!!
SAVE THE DATE!!!
We are very proud to be partnering with a wonderful local organization saving our local smaller critters -
WYLIE ANIMAL RESCUE FOUNDATION
WARF is holding its annual POURING FOR PAWS fund raising event on Sunday, September 16th from 2:00 - 5:00 in Sparks

For more details click WARF POURING FOR PAWS

WARF has recently purchased property in Stagecoach, Nevada that will be home to its new animal shelter. AND, it has reached out to HVWHPF to share that property with at risk wild horses in need of temporary housing!!! We are so very honored and excited to be working with people who are just as dedicated to the small creatures as we are to our bigger friends!

Please consider attending this wonderful, fun, and honorable event to benefit the small animals that will be rescued and adopted out by the Wylie Animal Rescue Foundation.

Additionally, this beautiful and very colorful cap (below) is available for purchase at Foothill Feed and Mercantile, 1330 Geiger Grade Road in south Reno for $20. The proceeds ($10) from this purchase will be allocated to fencing the property in Stagecoach for our Virginia Range Mustangs in need of help!!!!!!!!!!! Could it get any better than that!!!!!!

EQUIPMENT DONATIONS WELCOME!!!!

We are so very grateful and proud to accept donations of equipment for our horses at the new Virginia Range Mustang Sanctuary at Equine Legacy Ranch!!!!
As we continue to move forward with fencing and establishing the water system at the ranch, we are also setting up a wild horse management system. We have received some equipment like water troughs and horse panels which will give the horses the basics needed for the transition to their new lives as 'domestics'. We are still looking for shelters and gates as well as hay storage structures.

Your generous donation of equipment or money is always greatly appreciated and embraced!!!!! Thank you!

FENCING PROJECT DONATIONS

We need your help to get Phase One of the new Virginia Range Mustangs Sanctuary at Equine Legacy Ranch fenced and ready for horses!
Fencing supplies come out to $2 per foot for materials (not including labor). While we have almost 3/4 of mile in materials already, we need another 2 miles to complete Phase One. This phase includes both perimeter fencing and what will be internal division fencing.
Will you donate to help today? Every foot of materials helps, no matter how big or small the donation!
Become a Sanctuary Fencing Club Member!

-Donate $500 (or more) = 250ft and join the Valley View Club
-Donate $1000 (or more) = 500ft and join the Ridge Line Club
-Donate $2,640 to join the Quarter Mile Club (< this is the cost of 1/4 mile of fencing material!)
Donate at one of these levels and we'll list the Club members on our new website! (Or you can remain anonymous if you choose.)
All donors will be invited to come see the new Sanctuary when it's open!

CAN YOU HELP?

Join us as a valuable volunteer for the many projects needed to complete the Virginia Range Mustang Sanctuary project at Equine Legacy Ranch!!

MEETING EVERY SUNDAY AT THE RANCH

We're organizing a work part for this SUNDAY, AUGUST 26TH!!! We need a few strong people who can use the motorized t-post slammer, others who can carry t-posts, and yet others who are familiar with using a trencher.

We'll be meeting at the ranch early this Sunday to continue our projects so we can move our beloved rescued wild ones to the property!!!

Can you help? Yes you can :) We'd love to see you there helping to complete this project. We'd like to run wire, marking lines, etc.

You'll need good footwear, sunscreen, hat, gloves, light clothing (with long sleeves for sun protection). We have lots of water, nice cold water!!!!

If you're interested and able and would like to participate please contact:

We can use your help and would love your help!!!!! If you're able to volunteer during the week, we'd love your help then as well. We have volunteers who can meet you there and get you started on becoming an expert fence builder!!!!
