Last Building Tour of the Year!

Cota Vera, Chula Vista

On September 18th, our Young Generation of Leaders (y|GEN) members gathered at Cota Vera in Chula Vista to tour the master planned community. For our last building tour of the year, our members hopped on a shuttle bus hosted by HomeFed Corp to learn about the project from those involved. Afterwards we gathered at Novo Brewing to network and connect with our y|GEN members through drinks and light bites. Thank you to everyone who joined us at our final building tour of 2025 and thank you to HomeFed Corp. for hosting us!

3rd Annual Valle Trip Recap

This year’s Valle tradition was one for the books. A group of us crossed the border together on foot, hopped on a private bus, and made our way through the beautiful Valle de Guadalupe. We spent the day tasting wines, sharing dinner, and connecting with new and familiar faces.

Annual Report on Homes Press Conference

The Mayor announced the release of the 2025 Annual Report on Homes with data showing that San Diego was outpacing many other jurisdictions in California in home production. The city permitted 8,782 homes last year which is the second highest in the past decade. While we recognize those numbers still lag in comparison to demand, we encourage members to review the report as these statistics are helpful points for our advocacy.
