Parent Survey
Reminder: If you have not already done so, please take a few moments to complete the Archdiocese of Chicago 5Essentials Parent Survey. This is valuable to us as a school and is designed to help improve our understanding of the parent/school relationship. Data can only be analyzed if at least 20% of the parents respond, and we currently only have insights from a small percentage of you!
All responses are completely anonymous, and it will take approximately ten minutes to complete. We encourage you all to take part in this important survey. BEGIN THE SURVEY.

Summer Opportunities
Summer is a wonderful time to relax, explore the outdoors, and connect with family and friends. It’s also the perfect time to explore new interests or delve a little deeper into current interests, hobbies, and academic enrichment. On our website, in the ACTIVITIES section, we will share camp offerings we think would be a great fit for our students. VISIT our site to learn about Peace Camp, Run Like A Cheetah, and some of the offerings from local Catholic high schools.
A few St. Barnabas teachers may also be offering some summer enrichment opportunities; we hope to share those details when we return from spring break.

Service Day - May 17
This year, our annual All School Service Day will take place on Friday, May 17 (an 11:50 a.m. dismissal day). Over 600 students, staff, and parent volunteers gather to help others on this remarkable and inspiring day!
We are finalizing the details now and will share registration in the next few weeks. Families will be required to complete the registration and pay a $12 fee for each St. Barnabas child in their household. This is a required attendance day for all students (Preschool through Grade 8).
The day will follow a similar format to last year:
- PRESCHOOL - GRADE 3 students will participate in the same service activity as their classmates. Preschool - Grade 2 students remain on campus; Grade 3 travels off-campus.
- GRADE 4 - 8 students select from a list of off-campus service opportunities. Parents should select the activity that best suits their child's interests. Each service site has limited spots available. Like last year, sign-up will be first-come, first-served for the destinations.

Also, a shout out to Kevin O’Kelly and the Athletic Board for their dedication and smooth rollout of Team Snap, our new platform for sports registration (and scheduling)!
