Bet on the Buckeyes

To all those attending the Parent Foundation’s “Bet on the Buckeyes” event tonight at Ridge Country Club, we wish you an evening of great fun and community bonding. If you’re not attending, you can still browse and bid on the auction items! Event details HERE.

Easter Break Next Week

Our Easter Break will begin next Wednesday, March 27, with an 11:50am dismissal (11:40am for Preschool); After Care is not available on 11:50am dismissal days. The school building will be closed until our students and staff return on Monday, April 8.

We hope you all have a rejuvenating and faith-filled break. Please see the “Parish News” section below for Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Vigil, and Easter Sunday mass times.

School Musical this April!

Be sure to save the date for our upcoming school musical - High School Musical, Jr. - April 25 - 27 (showtime will be announced soon!). Our 5th - 8th grade cast and crew have been hard at work preparing, and we know this will be an incredible production!

Science Fair - April 18

Junior High Parents - make sure to check in with your child on their upcoming Science Fair plans!

The Science Fair is an opportunity for our students to showcase their creativity, scientific inquiry skills, and passion for learning while developing critical thinking and communication skills. The fair is a required project for all Grades 6 - 8 students and will be held in the Innovation Center after school on Thursday, April 18. Details were shared with students over the past few weeks and emailed to all parents/guardians earlier this week. You can view the Science Fair packet HERE.

Graduation Events Page

8th-grade families, earlier this week, we emailed details about all of our upcoming May events. We look forward to celebrating our extraordinary Class of 2024; event details can be found HERE and in the Activities section of our website.

Last Friday, students brought home their Trimester 2 report cards. Please sign and return the manilla envelope as an acknowledgment of your receipt; you may keep the printed report card for your records.

Kleenex Contribution

We are running low on Kleenex from our shared student supplies. If you are out shopping, please consider purchasing a box of tissues and sending them to the school: Attn: Main Office. Thank you!!

Lost and Found

Over Easter break, all items in our lost and found will be donated. If your child is missing an item, please encourage them to search the table before break begins. Parents/caregivers are welcome to search the table currently set up inside the main lobby.

Congrats!

We congratulate St. Barnabas parents, Lisa Davis and Bridget Duignan, on their election victories this week! Lisa and Bridget generously shared their time with St. Barnabas as members of the School Advisory Board and numerous other committees. We thank them for their service to St. Barnabas and to the state of Illinois. Lisa is now the State Representative of the 32nd District, and Bridget is a judge in the 19th Subcircuit of Cook County.
