Prayers for Patrick
We ask for the entire St. Barnabas community to join us in praying for Mr. Patrick McGowan, our Director of Faith Formation. Patrick will be on medical leave until March as he recovers from surgery. Patrick works tirelessly to support our students on their faith journey - planning our school masses, leading sacrament preparations for First Communion, Reconciliation, and Confirmation, as well as our Service Day. He will be greatly missed while he is out of the building, and we look forward to his healthy return.
For questions regarding masses, sacraments, and service, please call the Main Office at 773-445-7711, and we will direct your call.

Catholic Schools Week Thank You
We have had an incredible week celebrating our school! Our hearts are full from the love and enthusiasm that has filled our halls. The Open House on Sunday was a hugely successful event, thanks in large part to the over 125 students and parent volunteers who helped out that day. We heard numerous compliments from prospective families on how impressed they were by our students and how welcoming and gracious the parents and staff were to all those touring our school. Our Grandparent Mass on Tuesday was incredibly special, with over 200 grandparents joining our school mass. After mass, many enjoyed coffee, sweets, and a school tour. Jesse White Tumblers, Wheel of Wisdom, Student Bingo, Hall of Heroes, Parent Vocation Panel, Staff vs. Students Volleyball, St. Rita Band, and Barraco’s Fun Food - it has been a joyful and busy week! Keep an eye on our social media and website for a sampling of pictures.
We are honored to profile some of our 8th-grade student voices this week. We encourage you all to take a few moments to LISTEN to the words of Meghan Bilecki, Abby Hilburger, and Joseph Herber as they share what St. Barnabas and their Catholic education means to them.
