Christmas Pageant This Afternoon

Join us in the Church this afternoon at 1:45pm for our school Christmas Pageant. All are invited to this beautiful retelling of Christ’s birth. The 7th-grade students serve as the actors, the 5th-grade is the choir, and the 1st-grade students are the angels and shepherds.

Luminaries, Wreaths, Santa & Spirit Wear

Community at its best! After mass this Sunday, the parking lot and school will be full of Christmas cheer from 11am - 1pm:

• Luminary kits may be picked up from 11am -1pm at the parking lot (near Walden). Order LUMINARIES HERE. 
• The Men's Club will be selling fresh evergreen wreaths to benefit the Kevin G Barron Scholarship Fund. ORDER HERE.
• The FSA will also be hosting a Santa Visit and pop-up spirit wear shop in the school's Main Hall.

Thank You

Thank you to all who came out for our Polar Express Family Movie Night last weekend. $317 was raised for the St. Barnabas Parish Red Tag Program, and an additional $317 was raised for the Lights and Ladders Brigade/ Finley Forever Foundation!

A huge shout-out to our Student Council members and club moderators, Mrs. McGowan and Ms. O'Neill, for their planning and hard work in bringing the movie night to St. Barnabas! 

Christmas Dress Down Week

Next week, we invite the students to enjoy a full week of dress down. Please note - students are always welcome to wear their regular uniform on any or all days.

Christmas Around the World

This Tuesday, December 19, after our weekly 8:45am school mass, please join us in the Church Hall as our Culture Club presents Christmas Around the World.

Christmas Band Concert

All are invited to the Christmas Band Concert on Wednesday, December 20, at 7pm in the Gym. The St. Barnabas band students in grades 4 - 8 will join their bandmates from St. Christopher, St. Cletus, and St. Francis Xavier for a beautiful concert led by Band Director Phil Enns.

Preschool Pageant

Thursday, December 21, we will be blessed with a heartfelt retelling of the Christmas story by our preschool students. The school performance is at 10am, followed by a 7pm family & friends performance at the Church. The daytime performance has limited seating for adults. Evening performance has ample seating and viewing. Please Note - Preschool Students ONLY will dismiss for the day at 10:50am, no PK After Care.

Sweetheart Soiree

The annual Sweetheart Soiree, hosted by the FSA is Friday, January 12, and reservations are due by December 31. Girls are encouraged to bring their favorite date - father, grandfather, or any special adult. Order your tickets today on MEMBERSHIP TOOLKIT.

Remembering Bishop Goedert

The wake for Bishop Goedert will be held at St. Barnabas this Sunday, December 17 from 3pm - 8pm.

Many alumni parents will fondly remember their years at St. Barnabas and the kind and caring impact of Bishop Goedert who served as the fourth pastor of St. Barnabas from 1976-1987.

We ask for blessing to all those who knew and loved Bishop Goedert as he is called home to the arms of God.
