Staff Appreciation - Many, many thanks for the care, attention, and love that went into appreciating our school staff this week! We certainly felt the love from all of you. To the FSA, led by the tremendous efforts of Caitlin Andersen and Sara Powers, for coordinating gifts, a fun outdoor welcome, and treats throughout the building - we are so thankful. To the School Board, Men’s Club, and Parent Foundation for treating the staff to breakfast and lunches - you made our days so enjoyable. To the room parents for coordinating thoughtful efforts within your classroom - thank you for your dedication. And to the many families that contributed gift cards, treats, and kind notes - thank you, our hearts are full!
First Communion - First Communion was a truly memorable day for our 2nd grade. Thank you to the students for your sweet, genuine, faith-filled spirits. To the parents and guardians, thank you for supporting your children on their faith journey - you will always be their first and most impactful teachers in faith. To our 2nd-grade teachers, Mrs. Fitzmaurice and Ms. Clifford, thank you for the care and commitment you share each day of the school year - your love and attention filled the students with understanding and enthusiasm for their faith. And to Father Donovan, Mr. McGowan, Deacon Neu, and Ms. Sadowski - thank you for serving as the foundation of our faith community at St. Barnabas.
Chaperones - To our field trip chaperones - thank you! Recent trips to Springfield with 7th grade and Peggy Notebeart with 4th Grade, and The Field Museum with 3rd grade required the helping hands and watchful eyes of many chaperones. Thank you for your support, patience, and care!
