This weekend, we honor the commitment and dedication of our 8th-grade students as they close out their time at St. Barnabas. We encourage you all to return to the gym for the closing night performance of Sister Act. We have an incredibly talented 8th-grade class that truly shines on the stage. Come wish them well in their final SB production. On Sunday, our Girls Flag Football athletes take on St. Linus (at 4:30) and St. Gerald (at 6:30) at Marist. The team is currently undefeated at 6-0! THANK YOU

Confirmation - Thank you to our 8th-grade students who affirmed their commitment to our Catholic faith at their Confirmation last Friday. We are overwhelmed with joy to see your love and dedication to the Confirmation journey. It was a beautiful liturgy led by Bishop Bartosic. We also extend our deep gratitude to Father Donovan, Mrs. McGowan, Mr. McGowan, and Ms. Sadowski for preparing the students on their faith journey. A special note of thanks to the 7th-grade families that contributed desserts and helped set up the Church Hall reception.

Mother Son - Thank you to the FSA for bringing back the Mother Son event with a bowling party at Arena Lanes! Thank you to all the moms and sons who attended. A huge thank you to Karolyn Johnson for leading the efforts along wth Kathleen Hogan and the FSA team. If you have photos from the event you’d like to share, please upload them to this Google Drive or email Tracy Burke at tburke@stbarnabasparish.org.

Congratulations to 6th grader April Reichard, who won first place in the poetry category of the Venerable Fr. Augustus Tolton Writing Contest sponsored by Tolton Ambassadors - Chicago. We are so proud of you, April!
