Talent Show Today

Good luck to all our students performing in the Talent Show this afternoon! Due to limited seating capacity in the gym, we can only welcome parents/guardians of performers. Guests may park in the lot and enter through the gym doors for the 1:30pm performance. You will be asked to sign in at the gym vestibule prior to entering the show.

Art Fair

The Art Fair is this weekend! We can't wait to welcome you and celebrate the arts within our school community. Each student will have a piece on display in the gym. Fun for all ages - please spread the word to extended family, friends, and neighbors.

8th Grade Dinner Dance

Class of 2026, we wish you an incredible evening tomorrow night as you celebrate together at The Vineyard! Many thanks to Lisa Barraco and Kerri Collado for leading the planning efforts along with the parent committee. A reminder that students are not permitted to walk home alone. A parent/guardian or designated adult must pick up at 10pm. May Pulse

As we enter into the final weeks of the school year, Ms. Sadowski asks that all parents and guardians take a moment to complete the May Pulse Survey coordinated by the Archdiocese of Chicago. Sprit Day

It's one of the best days of the year for our students, and Spirit Day is almost here - next Friday, May 22. This is an 11:50am student dismissal leading into the long Memorial Day weekend, and After Care is not available. Details about the big day - including what to wear, parking restrictions, and volunteers sign up are in the link. View the details.

Last Week of School

Our 8th graders graduate on Friday, May 29. All other grades finish school the week of June 1. That last week of school has an alternate schedule. Please ensure all dates and times are properly logged for your child's grade level.

  • Monday, June 1 - 1:30pm Dismissal K - 7, 1:20pm for PK
  • Tuesday, June 2 - 1:30pm Dismissal K - 7, 1:20pm for PK (no school mass this Tuesday)
  • Wednesday, June 3 - Kindergarten Graduation 9:30am - 10:30am; PK Dismissal at 10:50am; 1:30pm Dismissal for Grades 1 - 7
  • Thursday, June 4 - Grades 1 - 7 only. Last School Mass at 8:45am, Dismissal at 10:50am.


Also, there is NO hot lunch the last week of school. All students should bring a bagged lunch.

Boots and Buckeyes

The Parent Foundation is once again hosting Boots & Buckeyes!! Friday, June 5 - same boots, different rodeo! Gather in support of the Parent Foundation and all they do to benefit our teachers. Celebrate the start of summer while making a difference for our teachers. Ticket sales and event sponsorship opportunities are available! Learn more and purchase tickets!

ATHLETIC NEWS

Championship Weekend

Our Girls Flag Football season has been filled with growth, grit, and determination. Both teams, JV (5th - 6th grade) and Varsity (7th - 8th), have progressed through the playoffs and will play in Championship Weekend this Sunday!

  • 3pm at Brother Rice - 5th & 6th will play St. Catherine’s in the semi-final game.
  • at Mother McAuley - 7th and 8th will play St. Al’s (afternoon game time tbd) in the semi-final game.


Winning teams will advance to the Championship games on Sunday evening (5:15 at BR for 5th-6th and 5:45pm at McAuley for 7th-8th).

8th Grade Golf

A huge congrats to our 8th-grade golfers on the end of their season. In the girls conference championship, Audrey Lunkes took 1st place and Grace McGarth placed 3rd! Nate Burke took 2nd place in the boys divison. Way to go, Buckeyes!

Fall 2026 Sports Registration

GIRLS BASKETBALL - Registration for Fall 2026 Girls Basketball is open. All student-athletes (rising grades 3 - 8) must register in May to participate for the next school year. Girls in rising grades 6 - 8 must participate in a one-day tryout for placement on A or B teams; there are no tryouts for rising grades 3 - 5. Tryouts will be held the week of May 25 - exact date coming soon. Students must be registered in TeamSnap to be eligible for tryouts. Register for Girls Basketball.


BC KNIGHTS - Registration is also open for Fall 2026 Football (rising Gr. 4 - 8) and Cheer (rising Gr. 4 - 8). BC Knights, launched last year, is the new partnership with Christ the King. Students from both parishes play under the united team of BC Kights. Registration is due Monday, June 15. Register for BC Knights.
