Honoring Kelly Bojan
This week, we said goodbye to Kelly Bojan, a beloved member of St. Barnabas School and Parish and mother to Chloe (‘26). Kelly was a radiant light to all who knew her. She lived a life of true courage and authenticity, dedicated to caring for others and loving Chloe.
We live by our Root Belief, We belong to each other, and in this time of grief, we encourage you all to come to gather and honor the extraordinary life of Kelly. Please join us in the gym tonight for a 6pm volleyball game to honor Kelly’s life. Kelly loved to cheer on the St. Barnabas Buckeyes - always offering positive words of encouragement and cheering for every athlete. She lived her life with joy, and tonight, let's honor her spirit as we come together in a way Kelly would have loved - together, as Buckeyes. View the game details.
Kelly lived a 15-year battle with breast cancer and was a passionate believer in supporting those with cancer. If you would like to purchase a yard sign in memory of Kelly to display for the Beverly Breast Cancer Walk, please complete the order form and send $25 cash or check to the office c/o Kristin Hilburger or Venmo @Kristin-Hilburger (7499). All proceeds go to Chloe and the Bojan Family. Limited quantities available, order a yard sign.

May Crowning
Next Friday, May 8, we will gather for our annual May Crowning. This is an incredibly meaningful and reverent day, and we invite each of you to join us. The procession (weather permitting) from the school’s Main Entry to Church includes all Kindergarten - Grade 8 students. Parents, guardians, extended family, and friends are welcome to line the sidewalk surrounding the school grounds beginning at 1:30pm to view the student procession, before proceeding into the Church for the 1:45pm Prayer Service.
Students in Grades 2 and 8 should dress in their May Crowning attire (details here). We ask all other students to dress in their full school uniforms, no gym uniforms or spirit wear next Friday.
Preschool Families - We invite you to share this day with the “big school”, and also remember to save the date for the Preschool’s very own May Crowning on Thursday, May 21.

We have lots to be thankful for this time of year! St. Barnabas School is a vibrant and active place because of the dedication and care of our parents - we simply could not do it without you!
Pack the Theater and Field - Thank you to all those in our community and extended family who came out to cheer on our 8th graders at their final stage performance and one of the final flag football games. We appreciate your enthusiasm, as it greatly lifts the spirits of our performers and athletes!
Athletes Mass - Thank you to the families that came to the Athletes Mass last Sunday. As a Catholic school, our faith is foundational to all we do, including sports, and it was a beautiful faith celebration of the athletic gifts God has given our students.
Spirit Day Shirt Sales - Thank you to the many families who purchased a Spirit Day shirt. 400 shirts were sold, and nearly $2,500 was raised to help support the costs of Spirit Day! We thank each of you for your support, and we also extend our heartfelt thanks to Joe Piko and his hardworking staff at Marathon Sportwear. Marathon works diligently to ensure a smooth merchandise process and gives all proceeds back to St. Barnabas and our auxiliary groups. Students (and volunteers) can expect to receive their shirts in a few weeks!
SEL Workshop - Thank you to those parents who came out last night to hear the helpful words and guidance from Julie Schultz, Align Counselor. Your commitment to your child’s well-being is admired.
