Tomorrow - Basketball Championship

Report Card Day!

Today, students are bringing home their Trimester 2 report cards. You may keep the printed report card for your records. Please sign and return the envelope to acknowledge your receipt.

Families must be in good financial standing for report cards to be released. If you did not receive a report card, please log into your FACTS account to ensure all tuition, including incidental expenses, is paid in full. Once this has been completed, please reach out our Business Manager Mrs. Reilly via phone 773-445-7711 ext 402 or reilly@stbarnabasparish.org so that we may get your student's report card sent home as soon as possible.

Internet Scam

On Wednesday, we sent an email to all school families sharing the details of a recent internet scam that is affecting school children in our area. This scam is advanced and mimics people the child already knows (and trusts). In this scenario, the child may be more likely to share a password, believing it to be a known friend or family member. We stress to you the importance of internet safety. If you have not already, please review the school message that was sent via email.

After School Opportunities

Registration is still open for a few after-school opportunities for our Buckeyes!

  • MONDAYS - Junior Basketball (Kindergarten - Grade 2), led by Ms. Sadowski, Register.
  • TUESDAYS - Chess Club (Kindergarten - Grade 8), Register.

Buckeye Scholarship Application

Sharing again: The Parish's Buckeye Scholarship applications are open and available via FACTS Grant/Aid. Applications are due by April 15 and require the submission of your 2024 tax return for completion. Learn more.

THANK YOU

Black History Month

Thank you to all who helped support our Black History Month initiatives. With our spirit wear sales and dress down contributions our school community raised $2,440! From that, a $2,000 donation has been made to the United Negro College Fund and $440 will support our student Culture Club.

We finished out the month with our Black History Assembly. The positive energy in the gym was magnificent! Thank you to the students, staff, and parent volunteers that planned and executed the perfect wrap up to BHM.

Parker's Party

It was a chilly day for plunging - but Parker's Party supporters showed up! The Special Olympics fundraising site is still accepting donations if you would like to contribute.

Thank you to all who supported the apparel sales and the dress down day, which raised $2,544 for Team Parker's Party!
