THANK YOU

Black History Month This past month, our hearts were filled with joy and appreciation as we celebrated Black History Month. Coming together as a community to celebrate, reflect, and inspire is integral to fostering a student community grounded in inclusion and respect. We learned of trailblazers who overcame significant barriers, which served as a powerful motivator for all students to pursue their own ambitions. We hope all our students gained a deeper understanding and appreciation.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our Student Culture Club, led by 8th grader Addyson Burton and Mrs. Gaytan. Katina Smith, Lisa Davis, Elizabeth Cadichon, and the many other parent volunteers who dedicated their creativity and time, and to Jesse White for sharing his time - thank you! Between our spirit wear sales and dress down day, we collected $2,031 from the school community! The funds will be split equally between the Culture Club and the United Negro College Fund. Thank you Bukeyes!
