Calendar Reminders
On Wednesday, September 24, our students will be dismissed at 1:30pm (1:20pm for Preschool). After Care is available until 6pm for pre-registered After Care students. On Friday, September 26, there is no school for students, as our staff participates in an Archdiocese-wide professional development day.

Parent-Teacher Conferences
Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on Wednesday, October 8, from 4pm - 7pm, and Thursday, October 9, from 1pm - 6pm. Conferences offer a brief opportunity to connect in person with the teachers to discuss your student's performance, classroom expectations, and address any questions or concerns you may have. Junior High students (6th, 7th, 8th grade) are encouraged to attend the conference with their parents/guardians. Parents/Guardians may register for up to two conferences per child. The conferences are ten minutes in length with a two-minute gap between for travel. As a reminder, the conferences lead us into the long Columbus Day-Indigenous Peoples' Day holiday weekend. Students will dismiss on Thursday, October 9 at 11:50am (11:40PK) and class resumes on Tuesday, October 14. Register for Parent-Teacher Conferences.

Winter Sports, Register by Sept 24
Registration for Boys Basketball (Grades 3 - 8) and Girls Volleyball (Grades 4 - 8) is now open! Registration is due for all participants by end-of-day Thursday, September 25. Tryouts for players in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades will be held in late September or early October. Learn more and register now for Basketball or Volleyball.

Fall Fest, Sept 27
Just a few weeks until Fall Fest on Saturday, September 27! We hope you'll join us for this all-ages event. We will gather at 4pm in the Church for Mass, dedication of the newly renovated worship space, and enjoy the beautiful voices of our combined Children’s and Adult Parish choirs. After Mass, proceed to the parking lot for an all-ages celebration with food trucks, petting zoo, face painting, and the $50,000 Big Bucks Grand Prize Raffle drawing!

STEP 1 - Before you place your first Fun Food order of the year, follow these steps to update your family information in Membership Toolkit. If you place an order before updating your parent and student details, the food may not be properly allocated to your child.
STEP 2 - Place student order for pizza, mostaccioli, or chicken tenders and sign up to volunteer! Orders are due Friday, October 17 at 3pm. Learn more and order.

Big Bucks News
Just about 440 tickets remain for sale in the Big Bucks raffle. A huge thank you to our ticket captains for their efforts! Help us reach our 2,000-ticket goal by sharing the Give Central purchase link with your friends and family.
The ticket captains are coordinating a collection to purchase Big Bucks tickets for the teachers and staff. We are so appreciative of this initiative, and it's easy to contribute via cash, check, Venmo, or online Membership Toolkit. Learn more about the staff collection.

Align Social-Emotional Learning at School
In addition to the counseling and support offered by our school counselor, Ms. Jeanne Miller, we are proud to partner with Julie Schultz of Align to provide students with additional opportunities for counseling and support during the school day. Julie has 24 years of experience in school counseling, with a focus on building resilience in students from preschool to 8th grade.

Spark Lunch Bunch for Girls - Group sessions for students in Grades 4 - 5 and Grades 6 - 8; offered once a week during the lunch period. $60 for a four-week session. Learn more and register.

Parents and guardians of 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade students with Student Support Plans/IEPs are invited to attend a High School Panel discussion hosted by St. Barnabas on Wednesday, September 24 at 7pm in the Church Hall. Parish Children’s Choir - The Parish Children’s Choir held its first rehearsal this week. The choir is open to St. Barnabas School students and Religious Ed students in Grades 3 - 8 and sings at some of the weekend and special masses. Weekly rehearsals are on Mondays from 3pm - 4pm in the Church. If your child wishes to participate, please register here.
New Family Mass Next Weekend - Families new to the school or parish are invited to a New Family Mass and Reception next Saturday, September 20. Gather at the Church for 4pm mass, then enjoy a pizza reception in the Church Hall. Learn more.
