Fall Fest & Big Bucks One Week to Go!

The Annual Parish Fall Fest and Big Bucks Raffle Drawing is on Saturday, September 28! Enjoy our Children's Choir at 4pm mass, then head over to the parking lot and convent grounds for food, fun, and the raffle drawing. Cash only for food and drink purchases!

We are so close to our goal - just about 250 raffle tickets left to sell! Please help us reach our largest fundraising goal of the school year. Spread the word to family and friends by sharing the online purchase link OR connect with one of our helpful parent ticket captains.

Lockdown Drill Yesterday

Yesterday, we held one of the annual required school-wide safety drills - the Intruder Lockdown. This drill is required for all schools in the state of Illinois. The purpose of a school lockdown drill is to protect the people in the building from a potential emergency, such as the presence of a school shooter. We pray that these drills always stay drills, but it’s critical to teach our school community what to do quickly and correctly in an emergency. Our students were calm and cooperative, and we are grateful to each of them. We thank Mr. Rich O’Brien for leading our staff in additional detailed training on Wednesday afternoon and Sergeant Anderson and police officers from District 22 for being on campus to help us with the drill.

Service Day Update

Our Service Day for all students is a few weeks away on Friday, October 4! We are fine-tuning all the details and will reach out to chaperones in the week ahead. All students will be dismissed at 1:30pm (After Care is available until 6pm). This is a bit longer than our typical 11:50am dismissal of past Service Days, and the extended time will allow us more time to reflect and serve.

AUXILIARY GROUP NEWS

Please Update/Set-up Toolkit

Much of what the FSA manages is run through the Membership Toolkit, and it is necessary for families to update their account every year or set up an account if new to the school. It is a quick and simple process to update grade level and homeroom. Without this information, you cannot order Fun Food, and many of the other items you order and pay for may end up in the wrong place. Click for the easy steps to update.
