We “Packed the House” and now it’s time to “Pack the Pews.” Please join our St. Barnabas Community this Sunday at 10am Mass to celebrate faith, family, and friends. The hallways and classrooms are looking spooktacular as we head into the Halloween weekend. Monday will be a fun-filled day and hope to see everyone at the parade.

This week we saw our students, staff, and community live out so many of our root beliefs. Our 7th graders led a beautiful living rosary with our parishioners on Thursday morning. Our School Mass on Tuesday was joyful as we celebrated Parker & Down Syndrome Awareness month. We hope our 8th graders enjoy their Halloween dance tonight while they continue to make memories and lead our school in a positive way. We are so thankful for the generosity of our community and an amazing donor for helping us raise almost $1,350 for Breast Cancer Awareness!

See you at “Pack the Pews” on Sunday. Go Buckeyes! ~ Mr. Jonathan Stack & Ms. Grace Sadowski

Next meeting - Thursday, November 3 at 7:30 in Innovation Center.

The FSA is a volunteer parent organization, similar to a traditional PTA. The association's goal is to provide additional programs and sponsored events that enhance the school curriculum and add some fun to the school year.

All FSA events and programs are entirely volunteer-driven and additional volunteers are needed to support the hard-working FSA. ALL parents/guardians are welcomed as members of the FSA. Any input, new ideas, or improvements you have to offer are always encouraged. Share your energy and enthusiasm for St. Barnabas, and come to the November 3rd meeting!

The Community Involvement Committee invites our St. Barnabas school community to help those in need and begin our year of service learning, leading up to April 28, Service Day.

We will kick off with a schoolwide food drive, November 7 - 18, and then work with each grade over the coming months to directly serve our community and educate our children in service learning and community leadership.

Our beloved annual tradition of the 4th Grade Saints Wax Museum is next Tuesday, November 1st. 4th-grade students research and prepare an oral presentation of an inspirational saint. Dressed in character, the students present the life of their chosen saint. All are welcome to view this special day. The event begins with an 8:45am mass at the church, led by our 4th-grade saints. After mass, the students transition to the gym, and all are invited to view their presentations from 10am - 12pm.

Reconciliation Family Night

Tuesday, November 8, from 6:30 to 7:15pm, children receiving the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Communion, along with a parent or parents, will come to church to pray and reflect on their upcoming Sacrament of Reconciliation. Some of our older students will act out a First Reconciliation role play with an adult to help the children better understand the sacrament. To support their siblings, older children are welcome to this event.  The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be Tuesday, December 6 from 6:30pm - 8pm at the church. Questions, please connect with Patrick McGowan at

7th Grade Basketball

Last week, the 7th Grade Girls B team had a last-minute cancellation to their scheduled game and missed out on the opportunity to play for the crowd at Pack the House. Come cheer on this ultra-hardworking team as they take on Christ the King team this Sunday, October 30 at 4pm in the gym. Go Buckeyes!!
